The U of Milo Athletics programs are the coolest, most original fantasy sports leagues on this planet.

 

Our teams are not gender specific, so if a lady wants to be on one of the guys teams, and a guy wants to be on a ladies team, go for it.

 

How do you become a member of 1 of our teams?

 

It's simple, pick the team or teams you want to be a member of, fill out the membership application, pay your team fees, and submit.

 

What do U of Milo Sports Athletes and Teams do?

 

A lot of things, but you do not have to have any athletic ability what so ever to be on 1 of our teams. So if you always wanted to be a synchronized swimmer, a Hockey Player or a Gymnast, now's your chance. Or if you can't decide what to buy for that hard to shop for friend, relative or pet, sign them up to one of our teams.

 

Pretty good conversation starter If I do say so myself "I may only be a 120 pound chick, but I am the right guard of a University Men's Football Team!"

 

What else is involved ? If you choose to you can buy an official team Jersey or Uniform. If you think other Collegiate team merchandise is popular & trendy wait until you see ours! Go to our Cool Stuff store to see what items we have available. You don't have to be a player to wear the garb.

 

In the past, from time to time U of Milo has been invited to participate in sports competitions with other Universities, this may be difficult to attend, because our athletes don't actually have to show up for any practices or games in any specific location. And they are located all over the world.

 

But that doesn't mean we won't try to have a group attend and participate, if we are invited.

 

We will write sport stories as if our teams are competing with other teams, we will post these stories in the Sports Pages of our "Bullsheet" as well as let other newspapers post our made up Sports events.

 

That's right, it's a different sort of fantasy sports league, we will use the names and submissions sent in by our Sports Team members, we will use photos if you send them to us. Then we will write up sport stories as if they really happened.

As many Real Sports journalists do have a sense of humour, we expect that it won't be long before our sport stories start appearing in the corners of the pages of many other papers.

 

We also expect that it won't be long before we will have U of Milo leagues, consisting of regional teams that play each other. (Or should I say compete in our fantasy games).

Climbing (The U of M Cliffhangers) and Bowling.

 

Any suggestions for a team you would like to see us start?

 

Any suggestions for an Official U of Milo event you would like us to host or you would like to host. Like an annual gopher hole golf tournament?

 

OH YES I WANT TO PLAY!

 

Please fill out the following application, so that we can be sure to place you on the team you want to be on. 1st come first served. Team fees are $19.92 per team 5 team discount $15.98 per team. These are lifetime fees. You will get a team photo e-mailed to you for each team you belong to. Which means you must send us a photo of yourself to put into the team photo. If you don't send us a photo, we will use one we have lying around. Coach, Owner and team Captain titles are available as well. However these titles cost extra & are only for 1 year. After the team has been assembled for 1 year, the title of Coach and Owner will need to be renewed, Captain will be voted on by all members of the team. If you are interested in being a coach or owner, e-mail sports@uofmilo.com and request a coaches handbook or owners manual. This will outline the additional costs, duties and responsibilities of these titles.

 

Some 1st year captains titles are still available at an additional cost of $29.04

 

If you want a team uniform, go to our Cool Stuff store & you will see what we have available to be purchased. If it's not in the store yet, it will be real soon. For example our Football Jersies are being re-designed so we can use them for playing football & half-time entertaining ( need we say more ).
