June 13, 2004: A Tornado touched down about 12 Miles North of Vulcan & 17 miles west of Milo.

Above is an actual photo of that tornado, we are not sure who took the photo, we think they are still hiding in their basement. However, they did have the foresight to e-mail this picture before they hid. That way someone may know where to look for them. News of the Tornado sent area residents scrambling to fasten their beer coolers and lawn chairs down so they wouldn't loose them while sitting on their decks watching the twister.

Another area resident thought they spotted a 2nd twister touch down on the gravel road about 4 miles East of Milo. " I saw the dust swirling in circles & thought it was a tornado coming right down the road towards me ! " but " Then the dust cleared and I realized it was just a few local teenagers burning doughnuts in the middle of the road " You know who you are !
